Classes canceled January 10 for weather

All Northwest ISD schools and facilities will remain closed Friday, January 10, and classes are canceled as a result of continued inclement weather and poor road conditions. Additionally, all activities on Friday are canceled or will be rescheduled.

For any event that is canceled or delayed, event supervisors or schools will inform families of new plans once they are finalized. Northwest ISD schools will resume operations and students will return to classes on Monday, January 13.

The district does not anticipate having to add additional days to the school year as enough instructional minutes are built into our academic calendar to account for up to four bad-weather days.
